Jinhua strengthens global ties with Belt and Road communication event
The Launch Ceremony of the 2024 Belt and Road "Jin" Hub Online International Communication Campaign was held in Yiwu, a county-level city in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, on Dec 22.
Jinhua has been actively developing into a hub on the Belt and Road, extending its global reach, and providing diverse perspectives on Jinhua and China to international audiences.
The launch ceremony featured storytelling, scene plays, and dance performances, inviting representatives from various sectors to share their entrepreneurial journeys in Yiwu.
Omuralieva Meerzat from Kyrgyzstan, who runs a jewelry business in Yiwu, shared her experiences in the city, saying foreigners can feel at home here, while Zhang Jiying, a local businesswoman, demonstrated the international reach of a Chinese brand through her two decades of selling her umbrellas to over 100 countries.
Additionally, at the ceremony, a dance performance highlighting the China-Europe freight train showcased cultural diversity, while a stage play told the story of three generations of entrepreneurship, symbolizing Yiwu's evolution into a global small commodity hub.
In the coming days, journalists and Internet influencers will explore Yiwu's communities, the International Trade Market, Ningbo Zhoushan Port, and Hangzhou Cross-Border E-Commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area, to gain a deeper understanding of Zhejiang's progress in the Belt and Road Initiative.
