Qi Rang, former vice chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), hopes that all sectors of society will promote the construction of senior science and technology universities with the concept of open source, and enhance the sense of gain, happiness and security of senior citizens, including senior scientific and technological workers.
Chen Rui, deputy director of the National Communication Center for Science and Technology of the CAST, said that the open source ecosystem should start from the construction of open source bases, open source platforms, and open source organizations, as well as from accumulate knowledge-intensive, technology-intensive, and labor-intensive groups.
According to guests attending the meeting, it's the right time to carry out the construction of an open source ecosystem, and all walks of life should be mobilized to participate and pioneer reforms and innovations.
Representatives from the National Communication Center for Science and Technology of the CAST, the Chinese Association of Senior Scientists and Technical Workers, the Beijing Association for Science and Technology and other institutions attended the meeting.
