China's new deep-sea manned submersible Fendouzhe, or Striver, completed an ocean expedition and has returned to land.

The vehicle set a national diving record of 10,909 meters (35,790 feet) on Nov 10, demonstrating China's prowess in cutting-edge maritime technologies.
