Japan-based Mino Industry Co marked its 20th anniversary in the Chinese market and the opening of its new factory in Nantong, Jiangsu province on June 24.
The world-leading ultrathin aluminum die-cast product supplier first set up operations in China in 2004 with the establishment of a factory in Shanghai. In 2018, it invested $90 million to build Mino Precision Auto Parts (Nantong) Co in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA).
Bao Delin, secretary of the Party working committee of NETDA, said in the ceremony that he hopes Mino Industry Co will expand investment in NETDA and deepen collaboration with the area.
After 40 years of development, NETDA has grown into a dynamic development area with advanced industries, robust functionality, and a beautiful environment, according to Bao.
He noted that NETDA aims to become a new hub of Japanese investment in the Yangtze River Delta and will ensure a comfortable living and working environment for Japanese businesspeople.
