The 21st China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair was held in Shenzhen from May 22 to 26, bringing together top players in the country's cultural industries, including seven from Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province.
Jiangsu Huayi Group showcased innovative achievements in tie-dye at the Jiangsu Pavilion. The artworks exhibited were made by the country's first intangible heritage tie-dye intelligent robot production line, harmoniously blending traditional craftsmanship with modern technology.
Gu Ming, Huayi's art director, said that the company's participation in the cultural fair is not only a way to showcase Nantong's tie-dye craftsmanship but also a bold exploration of the integration of traditional culture into modern life.
He hopes to draw more inspiration from the event, create more culturally innovative products with market competitiveness, and improve tie-dye craftsmanship with the assistance of technology.
Nantong's Haimen district created an immersive exhibition area, offering innovative cultural and creative products and diverse industry promotions. Handmade embroidered clothing from Kelly Embroidery, a cultural and creative series of homespun cloth from Huayu Embroidery, and cups and teapots from Heenoor were the most sought-after products.
Representatives of the Linyun Hall Chenglin Woodcarving Art Museum in Rudong also participated in the Chinese Arts and Crafts Cultural Creative Competition during the fair, with two handiworks showcasing its exquisite woodcarving craftsmanship.
