Xinghua city – administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – is aiming to attract more industrial projects in the current year.

The groundbreaking ceremony for a nano copper powder production plant and research and development facility took place on Feb 25 in Diduo town in Xinghua city.

President Xi Jinping highlighted on Tuesday the need to develop new quality productive forces tailored to local conditions for high-quality development, amid a new round of technological and industrial transformation.

Xinghua city held a special conference on high-quality industrial development on Feb 17, the last day of the Spring Festival holiday.

Four advanced manufacturing plants in Xinghua city were recently included on the list of 2024 Jiangsu Province Major Projects, a record for the city.

Xinghua revealed its Manufacturing Industry High-Quality Development Plan (2024-2026) on Dec 9, aiming to double its industrial sales revenue to over 200 billion yuan ($27.99 billion) by 2026.

Xinghua wants Japan's food sector to invest in and help develop its food industry, the city's Party secretary Chen Fengjian said recently.

Xingua city – administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province – held an autumn trade and technology fair on Oct 26 to invite more entrepreneurs to invest in the city.
