Jingjiang Southern Industrial Park – situated in the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – is ramping up efforts to accelerate its industrial transformation and boost its high-quality development.

Jingjiang city – located in East China's Jiangsu province – has rolled out a new "overtime default" system for the administrative approval of industrial projects worth over 100 million yuan ($14.19 million).

The Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group Co Ltd – based in Jingjiang, a county-level city administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – is steaming ahead in producing new vessels and it's setting records in the process.

The world's first demonstration project for the heat storage technology of molten salt – designed for coal-fired power generation equipment – was recently put into operation by power utility Jiangsu Guoxin Corporation Limited.

Jingjiang city was recently selected as a provincial pioneer city for innovation development among 15 cities in Jiangsu province.

Some 11 enterprises from Jingjiang city in East China's Jiangsu province grabbed total orders worth over 18 million yuan ($2.6 million) during the first phase of the 133rd China Import and Export Fair, which started on April 15 and concluded on April 19 in Guangzhou, Guangdong province.

Sales generated by Jingjiang-based manufacturer Jiangsu Kecheng Energy Saving Technology Co Ltd topped 40 million yuan ($5.81 million) in the first quarter, soaring 150 percent year-on-year.
