Workers are currently focusing on the construction of the cargo yard shed, with the steel structure of the first shed already completed.
The aim is to establish a demonstration hub port for sea-river intermodal transportation. It will be environmentally friendly, efficient and safe, boasting two berths capable of accommodating 100,000-metric-ton vessels, with various green and low-carbon technologies incorporated.
The waterside section, which includes the hydraulic structure of the wharf, has completed the handover and acceptance process.
Additionally, the installation of all harbor machinery equipment at the wharf has been finished, with debugging currently underway.
Elsewhere, five fully enclosed environmental protection sheds are planned and are currently under construction.
The steel structure of two sheds is being prioritized, with one shed's construction already completed and the roofing work being expedited.
The target is to have the first dock fully operational by the end of October, with the completion of sheds No 1, No 2 and No 3 expected by the end of the year.
