Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone – a national development zone located in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – has been beefing up project construction recently.

Taixing's economy went from strength to strength last year, with its GDP and growth both ranking first in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province.

A groundbreaking ceremony for 31 major new projects of Xinghua city took place on Feb 18.

Imports and exports by Taizhou city reached a record 130.73 billion yuan ($19.35 billion) in 2022, up 8.2 percent year-on-year, which was 3.4 percentage points high than the province.

The GDP of Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province came in at 640.18 billion yuan ($94.75 billion) in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 4.4 percent – ranking it second in the province in terms of growth.
