Lianzhou Airport does fine as planes take off and land
Test flights taken at the newly opened Zhuhai General Aviation Airport in Lianzhou Town confirm that infrastructure is adequate, and conditions are conducive to safe operation.
A Cirrus SR-20 went to and from nearby Zhuhai (Jinwan) Airport while a Diamond DA40D was flown roundtrip to Yangjiang (Heshan) Airport on March 30. Checked were departure and arrival procedures, communications, air traffic control equipment, navigational lighting aids, aircraft movement area, and apron signs and marks.

Test flights help to facilitate procedures, cut down flight times, and reduce aircraft fuel consumption. Now, staff has been employed,regulations drafted to guarantee air traffic control, meteorology, security, medical treatment, and firefighting.
Celebration of successful test flights
Located in northern Doumen District, the facility is built to A1-level General-Purpose Airport standards. Construction of Phase I was completed in late 2018, and the project passed inspection on Feb 22.
The airport will have focus on flight training, low-altitude tourism, and public services in the short term, while also engaging in general aviation exhibitions, aircraft assembly, test flights, maintenance, and repair services.
