During the busy autumn harvest season, on the vast land surrounding the eight villages of four townships in Jishishan county, the forage corn widely planted by farmers has ripened and is now being transported to packaging points, with the help of Jinchuan Group.
After a series of processes, batches of forage corn silage products are produced. The whole-plant harvesting mode not only provides significant economic benefits to farmers, but also reduces labor intensity, making this model highly welcomed by local residents.
Farmers dealing with forage
Forage corn silage packaging is a key support project promoted by Jinchuan in Jishishan county and has been ongoing for six years. In order to maximize the benefits of forage corn planting and ensure that farmers receive more tangible incomes, Jinchuan's support teams have promoted the forage corn silage packaging work.
They have held special meetings, conducted surveys to determine the amount of packaging per acre, purchased the necessary consumables such as film and tying ropes for packaging, distributed them to various silage packaging sites, trained 51 main operators, and performed equipment maintenance and debugging in advance, ensuring the smooth progress of silage packaging work.
Farmers harvesting forage corn
Currently, the resident work teams stationed at the 26 packaging points in the eight villages of four townships closely cooperate with local village cadres and villagers on the forage packaging lines to strengthen process management, carry out daily production and material consumption statistics, coordinate overall planning and safety supervision, and guide farmers' cooperatives, family farms and livestock breeders towards standardized management, refined production, and maximum reduction of production and operating costs.
This approach ensures the timely harvesting and packaging of forage corn and solid progress in the work.
