Jinchuan Group's Deputy General Manager Zheng Yueqiang has cut the ribbon at the unveiling ceremony for the group's first new energy unmanned underground mining truck.
Zheng said the introduction of the new energy unmanned underground mining truck embodies the wisdom and hard work of researchers, the diligent efforts of the past and will serve as an incentive for the group's continuous innovation in the future.
Technological innovation is the "treasure" of Jinchuan, he added, and the new energy unmanned underground mining truck is a milestone in the group's technological innovation process.
The Jinchuan Nickel-Cobalt Research and Design Institute should take this opportunity to firmly lead technological innovation, accelerate the transformation of scientific research results, and enable more technological achievements to move out of the laboratory, becoming a new driving force for the high-quality development of the group, Zheng said.

The mining truck is powered by lithium iron phosphate batteries, with a payload capacity of 25 tons. Compared to traditional fuel-powered trucks, it enhances mechanical component reliability while achieving zero emissions and pollution.
The vehicle is equipped with an unmanned driving system, providing three driving modes – manual, remote control and fully automatic – with functions such as obstacle recognition, and equipment and communication fault diagnosis, which are of great significance for mining safety, energy conservation, emission reduction and equipment intelligence enhancement.
