The State Key Laboratory for the Development and Comprehensive Utilization of Nickel, Cobalt Associated Resources and Jinchuan Group Nickel Alloy Co., Ltd., have jointly overcome the technical challenges in the production process of high-temperature GH3625 strip for photothermal power generation.
The high-temperature alloy GH3625 strip for photothermal power generation
The implementation of this project has achieved a breakthrough in the application of Jinchuan high-temperature alloy GH3625 strip in the field of photothermal power generation, replacing imports with the high-temperature alloy GH3625 in photothermal absorbers. Meanwhile, it has further promoted the construction of solar thermal power plants in China and enhanced the country's independent capability in ensuring key materials for photothermal power generation.
In addition to photothermal power generation, the high-temperature alloy GH3625 is widely used in industries such as petrochemicals, marine engineering, food processing and waste gas treatment. Through the implementation of this project, Jinchuan Group has further mastered the dual and triple smelting processes of the high-temperature alloy GH3625, as well as the forging and rolling processes of the alloy.
According to Fan Yu of the State Key Laboratory for the Development and Comprehensive Utilization of Nickel, Cobalt Associated Resources, the laboratory will continue to focus on the research and application of high-temperature alloys, driving the technological advancement and industrial upgrading in the field of photothermal power generation, thus contributing to the development of new energy industry in the nation.
