The 27th National Invention Exhibition - Belt and Road and BRICS Competition of Skills Development and Technology Innovation was held in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province. Jinchuan Group presented 15 outstanding technological innovation achievements at the exhibition, 10 of which received awards.

The exhibition focused on showcasing China's outstanding scientific and technological achievements and vocational skills, and created a platform for displaying, exchanging and cooperating on innovative achievements. Over 700 enterprises and research institutions presented 1,587 invention and innovation projects at the event.
The research and application of a new technology for treating high-salt and high-arsenic complex and difficult-to-handle precious metal smelting wastewater, the development and application of an automatic acid dosing device for wet metallurgical production, and eight other innovative accomplishments from Jinchuan Group received gold, silver, and bronze awards during the event. Jinchuan Group also received the Best Organization Award.

In 2023, Jinchuan invested 4.9 billion yuan ($753.8 million) in science and technology, a year-on-year increase of 10.9 percent. Fourteen awards for scientific and technological progress in Gansu province and the non-ferrous industry were received and 1,003 authorized patents were obtained by the company. The "4N5 oxygen-free copper (OFC) plate and strip" production technology developed by Jinchuan filled the domestic gap and achieved mass production capacity.
In the future, Jinchuan Group will continue to focus on serving the country's major strategic needs, leading industrial development and concentrating on key technologies to promote breakthroughs and transformations of more innovative results, in a bid to accelerating the construction of a world-class enterprise.
