Since 2019, Jinchuan Group Nickel Salt has continuously improved its competitiveness, achieving a transformation from producing by-products of resource utilization to becoming a cornerstone in the battery industry chain.
In March 2023, the company made it onto the list of "World-Class Demonstration Enterprises and Specialized, Fine, and New Demonstration Enterprises", becoming the only selected enterprise in Gansu province.
In recent years, Jinchuan Group has seized opportunities in the development of new energy and new materials, promoting the transformation of nickel-cobalt towards new energy battery materials, upgrading nickel-copper alloys and precious metals towards deep processing, and extending the chemical industry towards the fine chemical industry.
Subsidiaries of Jinchuan Group have been developed through technological and management innovations. Jinchuan Group Wire and Cable Co., Ltd. won the title of "2022 top 10 enterprises in the SMM copper rod and wire industry"; Jinchuan Group Precision Copper Material Co., Ltd. became the largest production base of copper-nickel alloy pipes with a large diameter in the country and produces the 4N oxygen-free copper used in such fields such as sputtering targets and medical heavy ion accelerators; the products of Lanzhou Jinchuan Technology Park have realized import substitution, with market shares in high-end sectors reaching over 40% and 30%, respectively.
