Recently, the "Counting and Labeling System for Cathode Copper Plates" designed and developed by the Digital Center of Jinchuan Group, in collaboration with the Lanzhou University of Technology, was officially put into trial operation on two automatic packaging production lines in the copper electrolytic finished product workshop. This system achieves automatic counting of copper plates and automatic labeling with size tags, reducing safety risks and improving production efficiency.

In order to address the difficulties, promote cost reduction, improve efficiency, and enhance the operational environment in production operations, the Digital Center of Jinchuan Group has organized professional technicians to propose a solution of "visual counting + robot labeling" based on user needs. During the research and development process, technicians conducted repeated experiments and tests on the "counting" and "labeling" functions.
The successful launch of the "Counting and Labeling System for Cathode Copper Plate" has transformed the previous manual operation of counting and labeling cathode copper packaging.

Currently, the accuracy of Isa copper plate counting is 99%, and the accuracy of A-grade copper plate counting is 100%, with a 100% success rate of labeling. This system has further standardized and optimized the product's entry process in the warehouse, effectively reducing labor costs and the intensity of manual labor.
Going forward, the Digital Center of Jinchuan Group will further promote the application of industrial robots. Through technological innovation, it will expand the application scenarios of robots and promote the deployment and application of automation devices, in a bid to enhance production efficiency, reduce labor intensity, and support the digital transformation and development of the company.
