On July 20th, the 19th Workers' Sports Meeting of Jinchuan Group was held at the Jinchuan Sports Center. Wang Yongqian, Party secretary of the CPC Jinchuan Group committee and chairman of Jinchuan Group, and Li Shangyong, general manager and deputy Party secretary of the CPC Jinchuan Group committee, attended the opening ceremony of the event.

On behalf of Jinchuan Group, Li Shangyong welcomed the leaders, guests, and employee representatives attending the opening ceremony.
Li stressed that in the first half of this year, the company's main product output exceeded the production and operation plan, achieving a cumulative operating income of 183.7 billion yuan (about $25.52 billion), an industrial output value of 123.8 billion yuan, and a total profit of 5.8 billion yuan. The achievement is attributed to the concerted efforts and hard work of all Jinchuan’s people.
He expressed his hope that this sports meeting would drive Jinchuan’s cultural and sports activities to a new level, and enhance the sense of belonging and happiness of its employees.

This year, the sports meeting set up a total of 14 major events and 78 sub events, including athletics, badminton, and table tennis. Over 2,300 people, including leaders of Jinchuan Group and local sports bureaus, attended the opening ceremony.
