The China Construction Metal Structure Association has announced the list of recipients of the "Gold Award of China's Construction Engineering Steel Structure". The project built by Jinchuan Group Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd., was on the list, which indicates that the steel structure engineering quality of the project has reached a leading level in China.

The cooling tower consists of a tower body, a reinforced ring, and a wider platform. It has a hyperbolic shape and adopts a reinforced concrete raft foundation structure for the bottom. The main body is an all-steel frame, with a total weight of about 4,500 tons. It is the only hyperbolic all-steel structure main cooling tower in the Huadian's system. After completion, it will become one of the landmark buildings in Hami.

The project has a large scale, high height, and welding difficulty. During construction, Jinchuan Group scientifically developed the construction plans, and optimized the process while ensuring safety, quality, and progress.
