On the morning of May 29, a truck loaded with crude nickel sulfate solution, a by-product of Lanzhou Jinchuan New Materials Co., Ltd., drove into the branch of Jinchuan Group Nickel Salt Co., Ltd., providing the necessary material needed by Jinchuan Group Nickel Salt.
According to Han Junwen, deputy director of the raw material branch of Jinchuan Group Nickel Salt, after the crude nickel sulfate solution is input into the production system, nickel sulfate will be produced in about two days. Additionally, products such as nickel chloride and nickel oxide will also be produced.

Jinchuan Group Nickel Salt flexibly adjusts its product direction according to the market: when downstream units such as the Lanzhou Jintong Company tighten their demand for nickel sulfate, parts of the refined nickel sulfate solution will be returned to the nickel smelting plant for the production of electrolytic nickel, with some being supplied to the Powder Material Company for the production of spherical nickel hydroxide; the by-product of the nickel sulfate production process - the crude cobalt sulfate solution - will be returned to Lanzhou Jinchuan New Materials and purified to produce electrolytic cobalt products.
