Nowadays, nickel, with its corrosion, high temperature and oxidation resistances and good ductility, plays an increasingly important role in new materials and other strategic emerging industries. However, for a long time, China relied on imports for pure nickel tape with corrosion resistance. Giving full play to its core technology in producing pure nickel functional materials and its resource advantages, Jinchuan Group has successfully developed pure nickel wide strip products. At present, the high production capacity of 0.8*1,190mm nickel strip products has been achieved.
The development of pure nickel wide strip products has filled the gap in domestic production, expanded product varieties, realized the further breakthrough of products' quality, and laid a solid foundation for the increase in the total output of products.

Jinchuan Group has achieved batch production of more than 20 varieties of products, including copper-nickel alloy, red copper, and brass, among which, copper-nickel alloy pipe products cover various sizes with diameters ranging from 8mm to 457mm through continuous technological innovation. Large-sized copper-nickel alloy pipe products with a diameter of 419mm and above have been developed first by Jinchuan Group in the domestic market. Jinchuan Group Precision Copper Material Co., Ltd. has also become the production base of copper-nickel alloy pipe products with the most complete production range and largest production capacity in China.
Gansu province has been supporting enterprises, universities and research institutions in cooperation, so as to solve difficulties and make new breakthroughs in key research, research on application technologies and key common technologies.

Jinchuan Group has consistently strengthened the construction of 4 national and 14 provincial innovation platforms, including a "national key laboratory for the comprehensive utilization of nickel and cobalt resources" and "Gansu nickel and cobalt resources efficient utilization and a new product development and innovation consortium". With the joint efforts of 57 scientific research institutes and universities, 129 scientific research projects have been carried out to solve key technical problems, including the efficient development of lean ore resources and comprehensive utilization of smelting slag.
