On November 10, Jinchuan Group and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement at the headquarters of Huawei in Shenzhen. The two sides will give full play to their respective advantages on the basis of mutual benefits, and establish a long-term, comprehensive and stable cooperative relationship.

Wang Yongqian, Party secretary of the CPC Jinchuan Group committee and chairman of Jinchuan Group, and Liang Hua, chairman of Huawei Technologies, attended the signing ceremony, and jointly unveiled the Jinchuan-Huawei joint innovation center for the digital transformation of nonferrous industries, and the Jinchuan-Huawei joint operation center for the digital transformation of nonferrous industries (hereinafter referred to as the joint innovation and operation centers).
The two parties held a forum on building a "smart Jinchuan" and a benchmark for the digital transformation of nonferrous industries. At the forum, Hu Gang, general manager of mining and metallurgical business of the Huawei Coal Mine Corps, gave a report on the "smart Jinchuan" structure and provided suggestions on areas of cooperation between the two sides, systematically sorted out the requirements of digital scenes in Jinchuan Group and the status of digital applications in production management, and proposed suggestions for the operation scheme and cooperation mode.

Liang Hua pointed out that the establishment of the joint innovation and operation centers by both parties is an important milestone after the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement in 2020. Huawei will give full play to its leading advantages in communication equipment, information solutions and cloud services, in order to assist Jinchuan Group in achieving its digital transformation, realizing the "multiplication plan", the speeding up of the building of a world-class enterprise, and providing the Jinchuan-Huawei innovation model for the digital transformation and development of nonferrous industries. Having great influence in related industries, Jinchuan has also brought experts and professionals from the nonferrous industries together to contribute to the digital transformation process.
Wang Yongqian said that Jinchuan Group is currently facing the challenges of industrial transformation and upgrading, and the improvement of efficiency. It needs to use 5G, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data and other digital technologies to accelerate cross-field and collaborative innovation, and to promote production management reform. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), Jinchuan Group will work with Huawei to carry out in-depth cooperation on scientific research innovation, marketing, talent training and more, to jointly build a "smart Jinchuan", promote the interconnection of the nonferrous industry chain, and lead the digital transformation of the nonferrous industry.
In June 2020, Jinchuan Group and Huawei signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two sides have since cooperated in digital planning, ICT infrastructure construction, digital energy, and smart offices, and have achieved outstanding results. The two sides will jointly explore the digital transformation of enterprises, industrial Internet platform and system construction in nonferrous industries, intelligent mines and factories, a Hongmeng operating system in nonferrous industries, information infrastructure construction, data governance planning and implementation, intelligent scene application, standard system construction, smart parks, and talent training.
