On Sept 11, 2022 (DRC time), the ramp engineering work of Musonoi Project of Jinchuan Group Metorex Limited made breakthrough progress: the 320-400ml ramp was successfully connected.

During the construction process, the team had to face certain challenges, including complex hydrogeological conditions, efficiency problem of waste rock lifting, ventilation problem in long-distance and single-ended roadway etc. To fix them, measures such as advanced drilling to guide construction, building transfer system for waste rock, applying temporary air storage for ventilation have been used, which helped to accumulate valuable experiences in advanced drilling water exploration, geological research and judgment and other technologies.

In order to speed up construction, the team had taken methods such as adding drop shafts for waste rock to realize the excavation from the opposite direction between the middle section of 320 ml to the middle section of 400 ml. Giving priority to the safety and quality of the construction process, the team stuck to the high-quality management standards and actively carried out competitions to encourage the teams' passion. It has set a new record since the project started.
