Recursos Tyler S.A. de C.V., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd, was acquired in March 2008 and owns 100 percent of the Bahuerachi Copper Mine in Mexico.

The Bahuerachi Copper Mine is a large-scale polymetallic symbiotic porphyry copper mine. The main valuable metals are copper, gold, silver and molybdenum.
The project is located in Urique, Chihuahua, Mexico in North America, at the intersection of three states, close to the border of Sonora and about 5 km northeast of Sinaloa. It is in the typical semi-warm zone of Sierra Madera, with an annual average temperature above 18°C and the rainy season mainly in summer. The annual average precipitation in this area is 801.5 mm. The terrain of the project area and around is rugged. The main valley is 200 to 300 m above sea level and the highest peak is 1300m above sea level. The Reforma Stream, a tributary of the Fuerte River, passes through the main mining belt from north to south, and the stream water converges in the Huites Reservoir 25km southwest of the project.
Since the acquisition of this copper mine, Recursos Tyler S.A. de C.V. has done numerous basic research work on it and completed the international bank-level feasibility study of the project in 2016. In order to further improve its economic benefits, a feasibility study on bioleaching was carried out from 2019 to 2021.
At present, the company is actively promoting the development and operation of the project under the rules of marketization, legalization and internationalization.
