Lishui's GDP grows 6.4% in 2025

Lishui's GDP reached 230.14 billion yuan ($33.07 billion) in 2025, growing by 6.4 percent year-on-year, according to the Lishui municipal bureau of statistics. The growth rate surpassed the national average of 5.0 percent and the provincial average of 5.5 percent.
Looking at the numbers by sector, the primary industry's added value was 12.88 billion yuan, up 4.6 percent; the secondary industry's added value was 81.56 billion yuan, up 5.6 percent; and the tertiary industry's added value was 135.69 billion yuan, up 7.0 percent, solidifying its role as the main growth driver.
The city's fixed-asset investment decreased by 1.8 percent year-on-year. However, investment excluding real estate development grew by 6.4 percent. Spending in key public welfare areas like ecological protection, transportation, energy, and water conservancy increased by 6.4 percent.
The service sector maintained stable growth. The added value of services was 135.69 billion yuan, growing 7.0 percent year-on-year. Emerging services expanded rapidly, with operating revenue of large-scale high-tech services and the information transmission, software, and IT services sector rising 11.0 percent and 14.3 percent respectively.
Domestic consumption showed signs of steady recovery. Total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 103.58 billion yuan, up 4.4 percent. Boosted by trade-in policies, retail sales of home appliances, audio-video equipment, and furniture increased by 23.9 percent and 8.4 percent respectively.
Foreign trade proved resilient. The total value of imports and exports reached 44.96 billion yuan, an increase of 6.1 percent. Exports to Belt and Road partner countries saw strong growth, surging 15.9 percent to 20.63 billion yuan.
Resident incomes continued to rise steadily. The per capita disposable income for all residents increased by 5.9 percent to 52,979 yuan. The per capita disposable income for urban residents was 64,895 yuan, up 5.3 percent, while for rural residents it was 35,119 yuan, up 6.4 percent. The urban-rural income ratio narrowed to 1.85 from 1.87.
