An industrial embodied AI base jointly built by local authorities, AgiBot, and the Zhejiang Tsinghua Institute of Flexible Electronics Technology was launched in Nanhu district, Jiaxing on Dec 1, marking a new step in the region's push to accelerate the industrial application of embodied AI.

AgiBot is a leading domestic enterprise in AI and robotics, spanning core technologies, product development, and industrial deployment. In December, the company completed the mass production of 5,000 general-purpose embodied robots, laying a solid foundation for expanded industrial applications.

Research capabilities in tactile sensors and wearable devices from the Zhejiang Tsinghua Institute of Flexible Electronics Technology will be combined with AgiBot's embodied AI technologies and Nanhu's industrial application scenarios, forming a full-chain model from basic research to industrial deployment.

Nanhu has emerged as a key AI cluster in Jiaxing, with a focus on intelligent manufacturing and technological innovation. The new base is expected to attract upstream and downstream enterprises, expand application scenarios, and accelerate the formation of a complete industrial ecosystem for embodied AI.

The project will strengthen the integration of technology and industries and contribute to the upgrading of Jiaxing's AI sector through scalable manufacturing and diversified industrial use cases.
