The 135th Canton Fair's second phase, themed "Quality Home Furnishings", opened on April 23 and will run until April 27, showcasing household items, gifts, decorations, construction materials and furniture across 15 exhibition areas.

Among the 9,820 onsite exhibitors, 220 exhibitors represented 30 countries and regions taking part in the import section, making it a truly global event.

Jiaxing made its mark with 79 local enterprises occupying 126 booths, focusing on home furnishings, furniture, and construction materials. On the opening day, these exhibitors welcomed 1,615 visitors and secured over $10 million in orders.

In the era of environmental awareness, green innovation took center stage. Jiaxing-based Zhejiang Pando EP Technology Co Ltd showcased environmentally friendly products, eliminating fluorine substances from their production process.

Jiaxing's enterprises seized the opportunity to explore new markets like the countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative and Southeast Asia. Jiaxing Jackson Travel Products, a regular attendee of the fair, developed light-colored products tailored to preferences in Southeast Asian countries. They also introduced aluminum tube products adapted to local climates. On the opening day, the company exchanged more than 30 business cards with potential customers.
