Paper-cutting exhibition adds festive atmosphere to Pudong

Paper-cutting art may be an ancient Chinese traditional folk art but it keeps up with the times. As Spring Festival is approaching, an exhibition featuring Mianzhu New Year Painting, Yangliuqing Woodblock Printing, and Taohuawu Woodcut New Year Pictures is underway at Pudong Library, adding a festive atmosphere to Shanghai's Pudong New Area.

Spring Festival is the most important holiday for Chinese around the world, and the exhibition has brought the joy of Spring Festival to the public and promoted the traditional Chinese folk art, culture and folk customs to people. The exhibition will last until Jan 28.
