Nantong Marathon offers generous prizes for participants this year

The 2025 Jiangsu Bank Nantong Marathon has set up an extensive prize system for its participants, according to the latest press conference.

Four hundred runners, including the top 100 male and female participants of the full marathon and half marathon, will be awarded prize money, with the first-place winner receiving a prize of up to 10,000 yuan ($1,381).

This event is certified as an A1-level competition by the Chinese Athletics Association. The total scale of this year's event is capped at 30,000 participants, including 5,000 for the full marathon, 10,000 for the half marathon, and 15,000 for the fun run.

This year's marathon route starts from the east side of Nantong Grand Theater and Nantong Art Museum, winding through the Chongchuan district and the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area. Participants will enjoy scenic spots such as Zilang Lake, Seyuan Garden, and Nantong Botanical Garden.

The participants' clothing for this race is primarily red, enhancing visual impact and symbolizing the passion and vitality of the Nantong Marathon. The design combines smooth lines with the distinctive Nantong blue calico cloth element.

The medal design revolves around Nantong's iconic buildings and Jianghai Culture. The front features ocean waves as a backdrop, incorporating the distinctive element of the Yangtze finless porpoise. The back integrates elements of Nantong's landmarks, showcasing the perfect fusion of urban culture and sporting events.

From March 20 to 22, participants can collect their race packs at the fitness center in NETDA and enjoy the 2025 Nantong Marathon Sports Carnival, during which sports equipment, Nantong's specialty products, and the city's creative cultural products will be available.
