Authorities of the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) in East China's Jiangsu province recently took actions to help local enterprises seek cooperation with vocational colleges in Liaoyang, a city in Northeast China's Liaoning province.

The NETDA delegation visited four colleges including Liaoyang Vocational College of Technology and Liaoning Jianzhu Vocational College to discuss exchanges and cooperation in enterprise employment, disciplines, talent training, internship, and talent policies.

Representatives of all the colleges agreed to step up efforts to train high-quality technical personnel, serving economic and social development and industrial upgrading in both Jiangsu and Liaoning province.

The delegation also visited the national cultivation bases for numerical control technical personnel as well as the training bases for intelligent manufacturing, intelligent engineering, and internet of things.

As an important industrial base in Northeast China, Liaoyang is blessed with a solid industrial foundation, making it fertile ground for the cultivation of high-quality technical personnel.

Moving forward, NETDA authorities will continue to bring in and cultivate high-profile young professionals in accordance with the requirements of local enterprises.
