NETDA, Fudan University invite experts to explore cutting-edge academic achievements

The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) and the School of Management at Fudan University jointly hosted the "Fudan Management Vision Enters Nantong" activity on May 5 in NETDA, inviting nearly 200 experts and entrepreneurs.

The attendees discussed cutting-edge academic achievements and promoted further cooperation with the development area.

Bao Delin, secretary of Party Working Committee of NETDA, gave a brief introduction of the development area. NETDA is one of the first 14 national development areas in China. After 14 years of development, it now has a permanent resident population of 346,000. In 2023, its GDP exceeded 90 billion yuan ($12.44 billion) and its per capita GDP amounted to 263,300 yuan. The output values of its industries and services totaled 200.5 billion yuan and 151.06 billion yuan, respectively.

NETDA has been honored as a national role model in transformation and upgrading, as a green industrial park, and as a pilot industrial park in collaborative innovation in the reduction of pollution and carbon.

Bao invited attendees to share the area's rich development opportunities and shift their investment focus to NETDA to bring more projects, professionals, and capital to the area.

Founded by the School of Management at Fudan University, the "Fudan Management Vision" series is dedicated to promoting the integration of theoretical and practical circles, accelerating industrial and urban renewal.
