Yangzhou University unveils affiliated hospital in Nantong

The Nantong Rich Hospital affiliated to Yangzhou University (YZU) was unveiled in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA) on April 19, local media outlets reported.

Chen Dongmei, member of the standing committee of the CPC Nantong Municipal Committee, said at the ceremony that she hopes YZU will support Rich Hospital in its transformation and upgrading, while the hospital will fully leverage YZU's advantages in education and research to develop various departments.

In recent years, YZU has collaborated with Nantong in the domains of industrial projects, commercialization of research findings, technological innovation platforms, and talent cultivation.

On the same day, 16 renowned doctors from Shanghai also opened their studios at the hospital.
