The opening of the China-Laos Railway on Friday marked the start of a new phase in Laos' strategy to transform itself from a landlocked country to a land-linked hub.
The China-Laos Railway, which starts operations on Friday, is another example of the friendly cooperation between China and other countries under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), and is bound to become a path to prosperity, facilitating communication and exchanges between the two countries.
