A film called The Stacking Fields of Hope, featuring Xinghua city was recently shortlisted for the Best Rural Vitalization Film Award at the Hong Kong Bauhinia International Film Festival.
In October, with the arrival of autumn, some 355 mu (23.67 hectares) of chrysanthemums are now in full bloom in Daying town, in Xinghua and that means it's harvest time.
