In early winter, a kaleidoscope of colors covers Taizhou city, thanks to the foliage of the ginkgo, phoenix, metasoia, and maple trees.
Acclaimed as the most breathtaking ginkgo sightseeing destination in Taizhou, the Taixing Ancient Ginkgo Forest Park grows splendorous ginkgo trees in orderly rows. A leisurely stroll on the soft carpet of leaves here will take away your winter blues.

The over-arched buttonwood trees on People's West Road provide ample shade in the summer time, but in winter their golden leaves swirl down from time to time, decorating the avenue.

This is the best time to view metasequoia trees. Head to Xinghua Lizhong Water Forest, Qinhu River National Wetland Park, and Jingjiang Mucheng Park to see what a stunning sight they make. These reddish orange trees are home to more than 100 species of rare birds.
Maple leaves also portray delightful pictures. Red as the evening glow, these maple trees tower high into the sky, brightening the gloomy winter atmosphere.
