The Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone – a national development zone located in the county level city of Jingjiang, under Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – is right on track with the build-out of a raft of key projects.
In the development zone, Huada Automotive Technology Co Ltd is investing 1.05 billion yuan ($144.71 million) in a new energy light alloy die-casting plant. At the construction site they're currently installing key equipment.
The production line is primarily dedicated to supporting the production of battery boxes and the assembly of battery modules for new energy vehicles, with an expected monthly production capacity of about 6,000 units.
