Samson Controls (China) Co Ltd came to an agreement with the management committee of Zhanjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone (ZETDZ) in Beijing on Sept 1 to invest in an industrial control valve production project in Donghai Island, Zhanjiang, Guangdong province.

Founded in 1907 and headquartered in Frankfurt of Germany, Samson Group is a globally renowned control valve and automatic control equipment manufacturer, which specializes in fluid control research.

The enterprise currently boasts more than 50 subsidiaries, as well as over 200 offices and service agencies around the world. It has been included on the list of the top 50 global automation companies by ARC Advisory Group for many years.

Samson Controls (China) Co Ltd was a sole proprietorship enterprise founded by Samson Group in Beijing in 1998.

The industrial control valve production project in Donghai Island is estimated to have a total investment of more than 160 million yuan ($23.44 million). After being put into production, it is expected to have an annual production capacity of 20,000 industrial control valves, as well as provide professional fluid control solutions for Zhanjiang and the whole Beibu Gulf City Cluster.

It will further promote the high-quality development of the advanced equipment manufacturing industry in ZETDZ, as well as accelerate the transformation and upgrading of ZETDZ's manufacturing industry.
