Six industrial projects were put into production at the Donghai Island Steel Project Supporting Industrial Park of Zhanjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone (ZETDZ) on June 29.

All the projects, including the flue gas dust removal project of Guangdong Zhiyuan Environment Protection Equipment Co Ltd and the steel distribution project of Zhanjiang Jincheng Storage and Distribution Co Ltd, are supporting projects for the steel and petrochemical industry, covering fields like mechanical maintenance, logistics, steel processing, and energy.

The projects are expected to improve the steel and petrochemical industrial chain in Zhanjiang, optimize the industrial structure, as well as promote the development of the green economy and the circular economy.

With a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan ($169.6 million), these projects are estimated to have an annual output value of 1.5 billion yuan and generate yearly tax revenue of 150 million yuan.
