Located southeast of downtown Zhanjiang, Nansan Island is a sea island covering an area of 123.4 square kilometers, with a coastline of 83 km.
In recent years, the island has been accelerating the implementation of aquaculture management, comprehensively promoting the return of ponds to forests and strengthening the protection of wetland ecological environment.
As a result, flocks of egrets and migratory birds fly here every year to pass their winter. It has been renowned as an "egret paradise."
