In addition to tightened prevention and control measures to fight the novel coronavirus epidemic, East China's Fujian province has also called for increased efforts to boost spring farm work to ensure a bountiful harvest in summer.

Provincial authorities have issued an array of supporting measures to help the agricultural sector resume production, and have assigned 1,500 agricultural specialists to provide technical consultation and training services in villages throughout the province.
