More than 200 tourist attractions in East China's Fujian province pledged to offer free or discounted tickets to medical workers across the nation, according to local media reports on Feb 23.
The Fujian government said that the policy is available to medical workers serving at local hospitals and medical units. The move is meant to honor the doctors and nurses on the frontlines of the national campaign against the novel coronavirus epidemic.
Medical workers can visit tourist attractions with their identification for free until Dec 31, 2020.
According to the culture and tourism department, medical workers can enjoy a wide range of travel concessions in Fujian, including admonition tickets, accommodation services and transportation.
