The 2026 Yangtze River Delta International Youth Film Festival will take place in Ningbo from Oct 17 to 23, with this year's program extending beyond cinemas into the city's commercial and public spaces.

As part of the festival, a joint campaign with Tmall Treasure New Brands will connect film-related activities with local retail and entertainment. More than 100 brands will join online, offering film-inspired collaborations, limited-edition products, and other festival-related offerings.

Offline, Ningbo's Xiushui Street commercial district will host a series of pop-up activities during the festival. More than 10 brands will participate, along with film-themed installations, photo spots, and outdoor screenings.

The activities offer visitors another way to experience the festival while exploring one of Ningbo's lively urban neighborhoods. Rather than keeping cinema confined to the theater, the program brings festival elements into the streets, shops, and public spaces around the city.

The festival runs from Oct 17 to 23, offering visitors a chance to experience both the latest in young filmmaking and a different side of Ningbo.
