Operated by Vietravel Airlines, the route offers three flights every two weeks. The new connection not only meets the growing travel demand between the two destinations but also strengthens cultural exchange and economic cooperation, building a new "air bridge" between China and Vietnam.
This year, Huangshan Tunxi International Airport has resumed or launched eight international routes, including direct flights to Bangkok, Seoul, and Kuala Lumpur.
From January to September, the airport handled 319 international and regional flights — a year-on-year increase of 254.4 percent.
With streamlined visa policies and improved customs services, inbound tourism to Huangshan continues to rise. From January to August, the city welcomed 216,900 overseas visitors, an increase of 63 percent compared to last year.
