During this year's National Day holiday, Yixian county in Huangshan, Anhui province, recorded 1.65 million tourists and generated total tourism revenue of 1.59 billion yuan ($227.3 million), representing respective year-on-year increases of 12.1 percent and 12.59 percent.
The night economy drove holiday spending in Yixian county. The county hosted more than 200 events, including drone shows and Mid-Autumn Festival concerts, which attracted over 300,000 visitors.

New cultural tourism attractions, including rural cinemas and museums, continued to gain popularity.
The 50-meter "golden dragon" in Xidi village is crafted from nearly 10,000 pieces of local crops, blending traditional harvest blessings with modern artistic creativity.
Moreover, over 10 traditional cultural experiences, such as Huizhou ink sticks making, bamboo carving, and sachet making, took place across the county.

The cultural and tourism charm of Yixian county is crossing borders and gaining international influence. Data shows that during this year's National Day holiday, the top 10 source countries for inbound tourists to Yixian county were the United Kingdom, the United States, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Russia, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, and Thailand.
Thoughtful services have become a hallmark of Yixian's international image. The county has created an engaging space where every global visitor can step into Huizhou's cultural landscape.
