From Sept 20-23, the 2025 World Manufacturing Convention took place in Hefei, bringing together leading manufacturing enterprises. Companies from Huangshan, Anhui province, stood out with advanced technologies and cultural craftsmanship that highlighted the city's growing innovation strength.
ZOPO Intelligent Equipment, a leading machine tool manufacturer, presented products widely applied in automotive, shipbuilding, engineering machinery, and mold manufacturing. ZOPO sees the convention as a platform to expand into new markets.
Tongxi Biotechnology drew attention with its synthetic biology expertise. Focused on developing and industrializing human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs), the company is building a new production line that will make it the world's largest HMO monomer factory.

Traditional craftsmanship also gained the spotlight. Exhibitions of Anhui's "Four Treasures of the Study", ceramic art, Huizhou carving, and bamboo woodcraft attracted visitors to experience Huangshan's heritage through cultural demonstrations.

Huangshan Huasu New Material Science and Technology, a Sino-foreign joint venture, showcased eco-friendly wood-plastic materials already exported to over 60 countries. The company emphasized its ambition to deepen global partnerships and expand foreign trade through the convention.
The four-day event highlighted how Huangshan enterprises are blending technological innovation with cultural heritage to enhance their international presence and foster global cooperation.
