Updated: October 12, 2024

The National Forestry and Grassland Administration, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, launched 14 distinctive ecological tourism routes recently, with South Anhui's ecotourism route in particular being highly recommended.

This circular route connects several 5A tourist attractions, including many in Huangshan, such as Huangshan scenic area, Tachuan national forest park, Qiyun Mountain scenic area, Hongcun village, and various national nature reserves and wetlands. It includes one UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage site and nine nature reserves.

The route integrates mountainous forests, lakes, historical sites, traditional villages, and local cuisine, offering tourists the chance to experience every aspect of Huizhou's rich culture.
