Jointly organized by Huangshan's Youth League Committee, Beijing Normal University, and Anhui Normal University, over 30 young directors and producers from various countries including Canada, Estonia, Portugal, and Sri Lanka, participated in the "International Youth Explore China: Journey in Huangshan, Anhui" event from April 27 to May 2.
Led by Marta Pulk from the University of Tartu in Estonia, the group delved into Huangshan's rich cultural heritage through firsthand experiences. They immersed themselves in Huizhou opera, paper cutting, and fish lanterns, while also visiting iconic historical sites like Xuguo Stone Arch and ancient city walls.

During their stay, the young filmmakers embarked on separate journeys across Huangshan's districts and counties. They captured the essence of the picturesque villages and inkstones as well as Huizhou stone carvings, and. Additionally, they explored the story behind local delicacies such as stinky mandarin fish and cultural heritages including Qimen handmade ceramics.
Through their unique perspectives and lenses, these filmmakers are to showcase Huangshan's natural beauty, cultural richness, and historical significance to a global audience of young enthusiasts.
The event has served as a platform fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of Anhui province's diverse heritage among international youth.
