As a city with its own appeal among the city clusters in the Yangtze River Delta, Huangshan city in Anhui province has taken part in the 5th China International Import Expo for five consecutive years.
The 5th CIIE, which kicked off on Nov 5 and runs to Nov 10 in China's economic hub of Shanghai, provides an ideal platform for companies worldwide to display their products, promote their brands and find more business partners.
In the last CIIE, Huangshan held discussions with exhibitors from different countries over 300 times and wrote contracts and deals worth $40.06 million.
This year, Huangshan has 221 professional visitors and exhibitors registered to participate in the global event.
Among them, Huangshan Yuandian Tech Co Ltd and Huangshan Electric Appliance Co Ltd are expected to sign projects with a transaction amount of more than $10 million.
Plans are for Huangshan city to make full use of the 5th CIIE and improve its quality of service and develop itself into an international leisure resort and tourism destination.
