City's fight against COVID-19 memorialized in artworks
Members of the Zhuhai Artists Association have created over 100 artworks depicting touching stories from the city's fight against the COVID-19 outbreak ahead of the upcoming Spring Festival, which falls on Feb 1.
The artworks are exhibited on Zhuhai Daily, Zhuhai TV, Zhuhai Radio, and the Guanhai app as a festive greeting for locals.
Beautiful Eyes – A Tribute to Frontline Medical Staff is an oil painting by Liu Wenwei, chairman of the Zhuhai Artists Association, portraying a medical staff member in protective clothing and a mask.
Orderly Life in Controlled Area is a Chinese painting by Xi Hu and Cai Zhengfeng, showcasing the scene of residents in Nanping Town lining up to purchase daily necessities, while local vendors remain open selling abundant vegetables and fruits.
Controlled Areas in Nanping – Nanfeng Community by Li Dongmeng is a watercolor painting documenting a scene of locals waiting to take nucleic acid tests under the guidance of staff members.
