Pile foundations are being constructed deep in the ground at three city-industry integration sites in the National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone (Tangjiawan). The renewal projects will provide urban environments, urban facilities, and overall urban functions.

For instance, the Tangjia Number 1 Industrial Zone will contain a culture-business-tourism complex by 2023. The site is situated where Qianhuan Area meets Tangjia Town west of 2nd Qianwan Road and near Zhuhai Campus of Sun Yat-sen University. Upon completion, the fashionable modern complex will echo nearby Ancient Tangjia Town across Gangwan Avenue.

Commercial and 200-m (656-ft) Grade-A office buildings, residences, and 132-m (433-ft) hotel-styled office areas will have construction area of 317,000 sqm (78 acres). The Podium Building will feature a characteristic urban lounge and atrium, rooftop garden, and sunken plaza. Business services will cater 24/7 to nearby neighborhoods as well as staff engaged in information technology and intelligent manufacture.

Situated 5 km (3 miles) west of Tangjia Number 1 Industrial Zone at the Gangwan Avenue-Jinqin Express Road intersection, the Jinfa Industrial Zone will house innovative industrial centers and quality business facilities to attract new-generation information technology enterprises. By the end of 2023, it will consist of two tower buildings for R&D and office areas, three stand-alone office buildings, a large convention center, and stores in gross floor area of 240,000 sqm (59 acres).

Renovation and development of the "demonstrative pure" industrial project will be in conjunction with that of the surrounding Xiashan, Guantang, and Ningtang industrial zones.

The Jinding Number 1 Industrial Zone will have two office buildings and a two-story Business Podium Building with total construction area of 53,000 sqm (13 acres) by the end of 2022. Situated in Jinding Old Town, it will feature an urban garden-styled layout that integrates conventional and hotel-styled office areas, and businesses.

The renovation project will not only give a facelift to Jinding, but also complement public facilities such as Jinding Market, Zhuhai Hi-Tech Zone People's Hospital, and Jinding Cultural & Sports Square.
