Hengqin-Dong'ao ferry runs restored starting April 11
Ferries running between the Hengqin terminal and Dong'ao Island will be back in service on Saturday, April 11 with passenger volume limited to 90 percent of usual.
Dong'ao-bound ferries will sail daily at 10 am, 2, and 3 pm, while Hengqin-destined boats depart at 12:30, 3, and 4 pm. Each voyage takes about 40 minutes.

Round-trip adult tickets will be discounted 60 percent through June 30, with half-price for children and seniors. Children below 1.2 m (3.9 ft) tall ride free of charge. Follow WeChat account HengQin-Wharf for more information and ticket purchases.
Ticket check-ins will be halted five minutes before sailing. Passengers are advised to get to the terminal 30 minutes in advance for body temperature measurements, health declarations, and travel history inquiries.
The terminal on East Huandao Road of Hengqin Town is a water transport gateway and exchange hub for Hengqin New Area. A new route between Hengqin and Shenzhen's Shekou Ferry Terminal is to open in May.
